Relief Initiative for Displaced Families in GazaIt all begins with an idea.

In the heart of Gaza, amidst displacement and loss, thousands of families now live in makeshift tents after losing their homes. Their daily lives are marked by struggle, where even the most basic human rights—such as access to clean water and sanitary bathrooms—are often out of reach.

Children walk over 300 meters each day just to fetch a small amount of water, barely enough to quench their thirst. At the same time, families face long queues and a severe lack of clean bathroom facilities, affecting their dignity, health, and overall well-being—especially for women and children.

Thanks to the generous support of kind-hearted donors, we were able to take action. Contributions helped cover the cost of water pipes and bathroom installations. We worked together—young and old, step by step—digging, building, and holding onto hope. Today, clean water flows closer to the tents, and additional bathrooms have been installed for more families, offering relief and restoring a sense of dignity.

These interventions may seem simple, but they represent critical lifelines for displaced families. They meet urgent, essential needs and bring comfort to people who have endured unimaginable hardship. All of this has been made possible by those who chose not to forget the people of Gaza.
