These kids need so, so much more than coloring books. They need consistently clean water and bathrooms. They need shoes. They need to know they will never be shot, and neither will their parents. They need homes with walls and floors.

But you know what? Joy is important too. Joy and fun are important even to kids living in hell. And coloring books brought these kids some delight, some light.
